Early Years Learning

What children learn when they are young is very important for their future. At KinderWorld, we follow the EYFS and Montessori approach to help each child learn in their own way.

What Children Learn

Children learn through:

• Making friends and understanding feelings
• Talking and listening
• Reading and writing
• Maths
• Physical activity
• Learning about the world

Language Development

Learning to talk and communicate is very important.

At KinderWorld:

• Staff are specially trained to support speech and language
• We use programmes like WellComm and ECAT
• We work closely with parents

Our SENCO, Emma Louis, can:

• Support children with speech or language needs
• Give advice to parents and staff
• Contact specialists if needed

Outdoor Play and Physical Activity

We have a large outdoor space where children can:

• Play, climb, and ride bikes
• Explore nature and do gardening
• Learn about plants and the environment
• Enjoy sensory experiences (different textures, smells, colours)

Babies also have their own safe outdoor area.

Pets

We have an aquarium to help children learn how to care for animals.

Interactions

Good relationships are very important.

Our staff:

• Build strong bonds with children and families
• Listen carefully to children
• Support their learning through play and conversation

This helps children feel safe, happy, and confident.
