HONEYBEE ROOM:

Honeybee room offers a calm safe environment where children can interact with others and build positive relationships. The home corner and messy play areas provide a good basis for practicing language and communication skills.

Practitioners ensure activities and equipment are age and developmental stage appropriate so that children can explore and develop skills whilst also building confidence. Honeybee children are able to enjoy Rhyme time with Miss Katrina as do the other rooms. 

Honeybees help support children’s mental health, including mindfulness activities and teaching children to recognise their emotions. Kindness is modelled and children encouraged to co-operate, develop friendships and how to solve problems such as conflict.
